You can still return to that old version if you wish, however, using a beta code. This even applies to the Steam and GOG versions of Garou even though they were originally released by DotEmu. Looking at the screenshot provided by the developers appears to show that players will be able to set their online parameters between the two netcodes in such a way where if the input delay reaches a certain threshold, Garou will shift to rollback.
